clearly this is a personal preference thing. I much prefer the /i over the /m version you've screencapped here. Even when my speed drops the rendering is much better and it loads more than a single story at once which makes consuming the news more efficient for me

I follow over 150 feeds (6500+ reads per month) in Google Reader on the desktop but find the mobile versions ridiculously clumsy and inflexible.

Meebo, by comparison, handles a small number of feeds beautifully despite it's overuse of photos.

I'm astounded that Google are satisfied with such a primitive product.
