Hi Martin,

Interesting comparisson and I must say I am very suprised by your findings. I would have expected more second carrier deployments. When you say "third carrier is configured" what do you mean? Third carrier neighbours are broadcasted in SIB 11?

Martin

Hi Mark,

yes, I am surprised myself.

Concerning the 3rd carrier: With Vodafone, I could detect that 3 carriers were configured but the mobile could only detect transmissions with scrambling codes and an RSSI on the second carrier. For the third carrier a number of codes were configured but nothing was detected, no scrambling codes, no signal strength.

Cheers,
Martin
