Allthough there are pentaband UMTS devices available, afaik none supports RX diversity for more than two frequency bands. I guess this multiband world will become even more complex with LTE where RX diversity is essential, isn't it?

It would be nice if there were a bit more of harmony in the bands between countries. Why to make it simple if we can make it very complicated?

Dear Martin:
i am very happy by seeing your site, its very good and very useful for all.and i have a request,
I am preparing a presentation for my Master thesis paper on Mobile relay for coverage extension and throughput enhancement. Could you please help me with some demo/simulation/animation of HOW a mobile relay works internally, and how it will increase the coverage and throughput. so that the presentation can be more exciting and visually appealing.and if you provide any data regarding my topic it is very useful for me. Thanks a lot for your consideration, in advance.
